The Planet Pit World Tour comes to CLE on July 29th. YLN will be raffling off a pair of tickets to the concert. To participate in the raffle, all you need to do is volunteer on behalf of YLN at the Pop Up Party at the Plaza. In essence, we’re asking you to go to a party so you can go to another party, what’s not to like? We need 3 YLN members that will help the Downtown Cleveland Alliance distribute tickets and check I.Ds.  Easy right? That gives you 1 of 3 chances to win the tickets. Join YLN at the 36th Cleveland International Film Festival

YLN would like to personally invite all of our members, friends, and family to attend the Young Latino Network sponsored film, “Cousinhood” (Primos) at the 36th Annual Cleveland International Film Festival – please mark your calendars now, as you will have three opportunities to view this film.

“Cousinhood” is a Spanish film is the story of three primos who upon one of them being dumped at the alter, set out on a quest, returning to their home with hopes to find new love while enjoying plenty of male-bonding along the way. It’s a fun film – we hope you appreciate the humor and the unbreakable bonds of family.

The movie (which is a part of Cinema en Español) will be screening at Tower City Cinemas on the following dates and times:

Thursday, March 29th (6:40pm)
Friday, March 30th (9:15am)
Sunday, April 1st (1:20pm)

YLN Election / General Meeting

I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank every single one of you for your on-going support (ie – volunteerism, donations, and passion) of The Young Latino Network.

Given that you have all been an integral part of YLN, this affords you the option of running for one of the five positions on the board (President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) as well as, of course, voting.  The YLN Election / General Meeting will be held at May Dugan on Wednesday, June 29th from 6-7:30pm. At this Meeting, we will also be sharing news about upcoming Events.

Importantly, if you have any ideas and/or suggestions, we welcome the opportunity to hear your thoughts.

At the end of the day, YLN is here to serve you – we want to support your business, help you get a better job, give you opportunities you otherwise might not have had, and, importantly, give back to our community while advancing the cause for Latinos in Northeast Ohio.
